Privacy, Museum/Fade Reduction, Anti Graffiti & Decorative Film
Whilst many installations use solar control window film, safety film and security window film, there is also a range of window films for several specialist purposes, including:- Privacy film – Black-out/white-out, mirror/reflective, frosted/translucent
- Museum film – also known as fade reduction film or UV film
- Anti graffiti film – to protect glass against graffiti vandals
- Decorative film – an alternative to manifestation when full patterned coverage is required
PRIVACY FILM – Privacy window film is quickly and cleanly installed onto existing glazing to prevent prying eyes seeing into a room, whether for a temporary or permanent installation. It provides a highly cost-effective method of enhancing privacy to one of four levels.
- Black-out/White-out Film – to completely stop the passage of light and vision from both sides – ideal where 100% privacy is required.
- Mirror/reflective film – a daytime privacy film which restricts vision from the outside but allows vision from the inside, whilst still allowing natural light through.
- Frosted film – to obscure vision in both directions whilst still allowing natural light through. With the translucent appearance this film is ideal for internal office partitions to overcome the “goldfish bowl” problem
- Decorative film – an all over effect of a patterned film can enhance your glazing whilst meeting the manifestation of glazing regulations.
MUSEUM/FADE REDUCTION FILM– Exposure to ultraviolet light coming through a window can cause fading and irreparable damage to your merchandise, furnishings, precious artifacts and even you own skin. Our films block out over 99% of harmful UV light, thereby protecting you and your valuable furnishings.
ANTI GRAFFITI FILM – Provides a tough, clear protective cover on any smooth surface to prevent damage by graffiti vandals. This unique film is designed to protect glass, plexiglass, metal and other non-porous smooth surfaces from spray paints, marker pens and diamond cutters. The special mounting adhesive makes it easy to remove and replace the film if graffiti vandalism occurs.
